ABOUT
US

The Takeo Century Hotel is scheduled to reopen in March 2025 after undergoing renovations to its guest rooms, public baths, restaurants, etc.
The Takeo Century Hotel opened in 1988 as a hotel attached to the Japanese garden Keishu-en. Keishu-en is a strolling garden with a pond designed by Kinsaku Nakane, who was known as the Kobori Enshu of the Showa era. The garden is characterized by its dynamic stonework reminiscent of the Middle Ages, and the waterfall and tea plantation flowing from it are beautifully arranged and in perfect harmony with the beautiful borrowed scenery that symbolizes Takeo. Please enjoy to your heart's content the culture of Takeo Onsen, which boasts a history of over 1,300 years, and the culture of Japanese gardens, which show a different face in each of the four seasons.
In addition, with the opening of the West Kyushu Shinkansen, access to other prefectures from the Takeo Onsen Station has become even more convenient. Please use our hotel, which is a 5-minute drive from the Takeo Onsen Station, as a base for your sightseeing.
